Solar Powered Cars – Pros and cons

It is very wise to use solar energy, moreover that it is the source of life in the earth and can be used in thousand of purposes. This energy is very cost-effective and it can be used by thermal power plants, heating systems and others. Solar powered cars is very rationally device, which must be used today and in future.
Solar cars can save us from different problems, since due to this type of energy we can avoid running out gas, no more petrol and paying for it, no more queers at filling station and of cause it is a great investment into environment protection. Every of us, especially city-dwellers, will be able to live longer, since the amount of exhaust will be reduced greatly.
In reality, the number of solar cars doesn't exceed ordinary ones, however, the manufactures try to increase the number of the first ones. The solar powered cars appeared in 19th and the mechanism of this car type is simple enough. The main idea is solar batteries which are powered themselves from the solar energy.
On the one hand these solar cars are very environmentally friendly, but on the other hand not every driver wants to replace his ordinary petrol car by new solar one. The main reason that this car type can be used in regions where there is plenty of solar energy. In case if the surface is uneven and not leveled, much more solar energy is required, otherwise the car with drive at a very slow pace.
It is impossible to drive solar car at night or when it is cloudy. In addition, this car type is rather small and can carry only one person at a time. The drivers has already got used to use car trouble-free, that's why not everyone strives to choose solar car. Nevertheless, this energy source require little maintenance and can serve for ages, it is inexpensive and, what is more important this technology is constantly improving.
It is a promising future technology, because this resource is renewable and if to think well we should understand that it may be the way out, 'cause the solar energy won't pollute the air with carbon dioxide and other extremely harmful gases that can cause greenhouse effect.
